I'm assuming that you're in Taiwan.

1. Taiwan Telecom (TCC), Taiwan's top cell phone company, offers wireless connection for about 800nt per month. I'm not sure about the download rate on it, bnut I think it is 2mb.

2. Taiwan's telephone company offers internet connections through telephone lines.

2mb is about 600nt per month.

8mb is about 900nt per month.

3. Taiwan's cable company offers cable connections of up to 8mb.

the problem here is that your connection will be shared within the area that you live. If a lot of people are connected, your speed will be slightly faster than a speeding snail. (Sorry about the bad joke. I've used cable, and I'd sometimes wait for up to 10 minutes to download a small pdf.)



Personally, I'd say the the telephone company is the best way to go because of speed and reliability.

P.S. you don't have to pay by the second like you do when you are using the telephone. I've heard people say that, but when I hooked up, I find out that they were wrong.
