The actual internet is fine, strong connection and my family members' computers all work fine. Mine, however, says the internet is connected, but anything I am doing on the internet will disconnect.

If you are connecting wirelessly try looking up your computer model and serial and re downloading your wifi driver. That might fix your problem. If everything thing else is working fine it should just be your driver.
